speed camera Speed Cameras Dot Org

The road safety group Safespeed have set up an online petition at Tony Blair's 10 Downing Street website to scrap speed cameras. Please visit http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/scrapcam/ and sign it if you are in favour of scrapping speed cameras.

Please note that after signing you will be sent an email which contains a link that you must click on to confirm that you and your email address are legitimate. This is to help prevent cheating. The deadline is 29th June 2007.

Meanwhile, a million people have signed the scrap the planned vehicle tracking and road pricing policy petition. This is the plan where drivers will be forced to attach a tracking device to their vehicle so the government can track where you have driven and at what time and invoice you accordingly. The closing date for that petition is 20th February 2007.
