speed camera Speed Cameras Dot Org
We support the abolition of cash for cameras schemes in the UK, the removal of speed cameras where accidents have not decreased, and refocusing of police resources to pursue the real menaces of the road: uninsured, unlicensed, or drunk / drug drivers and unregistered, untaxed, or poorly maintained vehicles.

About Speed Cameras Dot Org

It is the aim of this site to make more drivers aware of the truth of the unfair policies that the authorities wish to pursue with regards to speed cameras and other traps. Our other aim is to get these policies changed, but may only happen once millions of motorist have made their views heard and understood by the government.

This site was created out of the frustration that most UK motorists have for speed cameras and the policies and lies behind them. Where were the police the last time you were dangerously cut up on the road, or when a driver with road rage played deadly games with you? Have you wondered how long drivers with black smoke bellowing from their exhausts have been allowed to carry on unstopped, or other offenses ignored such as illegal text in number plates or coloured neon lights bolted on to cars?

All of the above and the one million drivers who have unregistered, untaxed cars or no insurance or driving license infuriates the average law abiding motorist. So why aren't these dangerous or illegal drivers being hounded by Britain's misguided police force instead of the honest drivers who pay their taxes and have insurance? Perhaps it's because...

  • Honest and legal drivers are very easy to track down for issuing fines
  • They are more likely to pay up compared with untaxed/uninsured drivers
  • No hard work is involved and most fines are paid unchallenged
  • £120 million a year is generated in fines
